| Tek have recently supplied floor displacement units for Warwick School's new theatre complex. The displacement unit systems were installed to handle air specifically as floor mounted units, suitable for the special requirements of lecture theatres. The units were mounted in the floor, but another system of units were situated in the theatre's steps to provide effective displacement. The units were pre-set as displacement, but can also be used as floor outlets with a cone shape discharge for upward mixing of air as opposed to displacement. In designing the unit, the design team took into account the ease of fitting and these units were fitted from above, which is now standard. The units were supplied in standard RAL colour 7022 Grey. | |
